Hello,

I'm looking for a book series for my 11 yr old cousin. I got her to read the Twilight series and she loved them. She is now finished with them, and I was wanting to get her started on something else. She really likes the vampire, werewolf  genre. I just really want to keep her reading..lol! I need something that isn't to graphic, and little to no foul language. The Twilight series was perfect, so I'm hoping to have another winner soon, any suggestions would be great! Hopefully I can find them on pbs, I have a ton of credits to spend. Thanks again - April

Blood and Chocolate   by Annette Curtis Klause.  There are several reprints of it.

Dead is the New Black by Marlene Perez

Vivian Vande Velde has a number of books.  Ghosts, vamps, ect.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater  (Very long wish list.  Coming out in PB soon.)

These are all aimed at younger teens.   (Many of the vampire books are aimed at slightly older teens, not tweens.)

Emily, I just read Switched and have the next one in my TBR. I would say it definitely would fit the bill for an 11 year old. It was easy to read, was a little mystery, and had a dash of vampire.
