Last week I requested a book from another member, and it arrived yesterday. There is no record in the system of either my request or the sender's acceptance of it; no "en route to me" listing or "books I've requested" listing. I have the member's name on return address and request ID #--how do I find him/her to give credit? |

Go to My Account / Transaction Archive. Sort by Books Requested by Me, Date, Descending. It should be near the top of that list, and if you look at the details, you'll probably see that the sender didn't mark the book mailed. If you have a "Was Book Received?" button on the transaction, you can use that to mark the book received. If you don't, then you can send a PM and give her a credit from her profile. Then you need to check your wish list and make sure to remove that book if it's still there so you don't get a second copy. |

Make sure you contact them before giving them a credit. I got an unordered book just like that a few months ago. Somehow, the seller had printed off my address instead of the person they were supposed to send it to. They had sent me a book a month or so before, and I don't know if they pushed the wrong buttons or there was a site glitch. They ended up sending me a credit to forward the book to the person who was waiting for it. |
