Thanks!

I don't think so Linda. That's a great suggestion.

I love the sound of the Cul-De-Sac kids. I am going to order some of them for Christmas gifts. If anybody has several and would like to make a deal, please let me know. Thanks!

I have heard that Douglas Bond makes some good boys books. Never read any of them though. The Left Behind Childrens series is pretty good as well.

sugar creek gang is a great series for boys and have been reprinted many times for many years. author is Paul Hutchins. my boys also love timeline graphics books, but finding those at a reasonable price is a long shot. have you tried Hank the Cowdog series, the Magic Tree house series? one of my 8 year olds just finished a condensed version of Moby Dick and he is in LOVE with it. I know the story from just hearing him tell it to me in excited enthusiasm.
