This is not a book I was planning to read, but I guess curiosity got the better of me and I picked it up. At first it played out as expected, disturbingly alarming and fascinating at the same time. The latter half of the book surprised me, however. It is about one man's journey of self-discovery and coming to terms with his past. Unexpectedly I found it a compelling, introspective read.
