And I have PM them a couple of times telling them if they would mark it sent I can mark it recieved.. Is there anything else I can do about this? Does anyone know if I can send an email to PBS and let them check into it?
Thanks, Linda W. |

How long before the order is cancelled? If the transaction does get cancelled, at that point, you can mark it received from the Transaction Archive. You will want to watch to make sure the order is not passed on to a new sender (cancel it quickly if it does). I am not sure that PBS will do anything for you, as they would have to modify someone else's account, and I don't think they modify a sender transaction unless the sender asks (not the book receiver). I could be wrong though .... |

From the help doc titled: I got a book I requested, but I can't mark it received!...(It's a longer help doc, but I think this is probably the part the applies:) If the book is not on the En Route to Me tab, it may be that: (1) the sender didn't mark the book mailed yet, and it is still on the Books I've Requested tab; or (2) the sender didn't mark the book mailed by the deadline and the transaction canceled; or (3) the sender canceled by mistake but mailed the book anyway; or (4) you have already marked the book received; or (5) the book was declared lost in the mail at PBS; or (6) you did not request the book in a for-credit transaction at PBS.
To investigate this:

Linda, Was the transaction cancelled? Or do they still have time to markt the book mailed? If they don't mark it mailed on time, you can mark it received from your Transaction archive. If the book is wishlisted though, the system will put it back in your wish list so be on the look out to remove it so you don't get two copies. Please do double check the sender. And watch for a second copy if the order rolls over.
