I know geography isn't my strong-suit, and I'm probably going to be horribly embarassed by the obviousness of the answer, but.... where the heck is AE? A few books I've order are shipping from AE & for the life of me I cannot figure it out & they weren't shipped using PBS DC so I can't get any hints from scans! |

Leslie, according to USPS.com it's one of the military codes, so you are probably getting a book from one of our members in the military. :-) (I thought that's what it was, but double-checked to be sure, lol) ETA the table:

You rock! As an Army wife I am so thankful to those who care to take that small extra step to ship our soldiers books. Last time DH was deployed it was to an AE address so they are dear to my heart! =) |

AE can also be from a US Navy ship located anywhere. Having been stationed aboard USS Platte (AO-186) for five years sometime back, our address was FPO, AE FPO is Fleet Post Office. The odds of it coming from a ship are tiny, but still possible (not much room to store books on a ship).

I'm always glad when I get an order from someone in or associated with the military! It never bothers me if their order takes a while, because I use the PBS postage. I feel like I'm helping out, even if it's only one book to one person. :) |
