I am looking for a children's picture book which reads in two directions. You read through it one way and then turn it upside down and read through it the other direction. The same pictures become something else when seen upside down. I think there is something about a city in it--possibly even in the title.

(Not a lot to go on, but maybe someone knows it?) If so, would you also PM, in case I forget where I asked about it!

I'm not sure if this is the book you are talking about. But a flip book I know of is The City Kid and the Suburb Kid.

The book is entitled Round Trip by Ann Jonas and she has another one called Reflections that does the same front to back look at a seaside village.

Round Trip was a wonderful book that my kids really loved! As I read the description here I could picture it in my mind.

I'm so glad that someone remembered the title and author. I'll have to look for Reflections for my grandkids!

Thanks, Pamela. That IS it.

Yesterday my daughter mentioned the book "It Looked Like Spilt Milk" and for some reason it trigged some hazy memory of "Round Trip".
