I am going to try to build up my collection of favorite books from my childhood. When we sold our big house last year, most of my kids's books were split between all my kids. Now.... I would like to have them back!! My kids don't want to part with them though, so I thought I would start on here. I want to find all the books that I used to love to read, but can't remember them all. I would say they were probably mostly books that were published in the 40's, 50's and 60's. Here's what I have so far: Bobbsey Twins Trixie Belden Horton books(Dr. Seuss) Madeleine Betsy-Tacy Who wants to add to the list for me? Thanks! |

April, That sounds vaguely familiar, I'll check it out, thanks! Actually, it reminded me of the Beatrix Potter books. About 15 years ago, I somehow got ahold of a set of her small books, I can't remember how now, but those I have still in my possesion! My oldest daughter begged me for them, but I didn't cave!!!! |
