Hello Fellow Homeschoolers!

I am looking for book recommendations (or the actual books, if you have them!) about children with physical disabilities.  I am looking for well written fiction that deals with the emotions and practical struggles in a realistic and encouraging way, or biographies that do the same.  I want them to read with my children, but they don't have to be Children's Books necessarily - we do lots of reading aloud and they are used to "bigger" books.  (If you have ideas on a 3rd-5th grade reading level, that would be good as well.)  Does anyone have ideas for me?  Thank you!
~Sara :)

I think the most meaningful and moving books that I ever read have been by and about Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, her teacher and mentor. I can give you names of some books with different reading levels if your interested. I have collected a small library of these books.

Let me know,
