I was given a couple old Whitman books. Can I post them on the Book Bazaar for a credit each? Thanks in advance for answers:) |

What about the books make you think they wouldn't be allowed? |

I think we need more info? Do you mean some old Walt Whitman books? If they meet PBS guidelines then why wouldn't they be postable? If they dont have an ISBN you can post them using the Post Without An ISBN option and PBS will give it a number. |

Perhaps this is what she means: http://www.whitmanbooks.com/default.aspx?page=80&SubCatOID=97

I think what she means is the old hardback books Whitman published in the 50's though early 70's (I think). They were condensed versions of classic books (Tom Sawyer, Treasure Island, etc.) and published especially for a school-age audience. These are generally considered collectible today. Before the economy tanked, I saw them in antique and old book stores selling anywhere from $3 to $10, depending on the condition and how rare they were.

I am soooo sorry. I should have given more info. They are books like Tom Stetson, Roy Rogers, etc that were published by Whitman. They don't have an ISBN so I wasn't sure if they could be listed. Thank you all for your responses. My apologies for not giving enough info. |

They should be fine as long as the book's condition meets site guidelines. |

As long as the books meet PBS book condition guidelines, you can post them. You will just have to use "Post books without an ISBN" option on the "Post books" page. |
