I have posted books that are on the club wish  list, but they are not being requested. I don't know why!!

Sometimes only certain versions are wished for.  Such as large type or audio books.

If you have a different ISBN than the wish for version, put your version on your reminder list to see how many copies are posted.  If the number is low, think about putting a tag on the WL version, something like "also listed as ISBN xxxx".

A bunch of your books are listed with short ISBNs.  Are they old books without ISBN numbers?  Check the copyright page for the older 10 digit ISBN.  Or the spine on the older SF.  We are recommended against wish listing the short ISBNs as they are designed to be single use numbers.  If you posted books by title rather than ISBN, you may have posted to those short ISBNs.

If you list which books you are talking about we might be able to explain why. Usually it's because someone really wants a specific edition that's harder to come by-they want a certain cover for a collection, they need large print or want audio.

As a side note, if someone searches for a title and your listing has a title typo, or a space missing between two words, your book won't come up in their search.  To correct a typo, click on the title, then on "more options" --> "edit book data."

I also find that my books are more likely to be requested when they include a description of the story and an image. You can add that info on the same edit book data page.

What Patty P. said - I didn't look at all your books, but did notice that the majority seem to be Sci-Fi.  Also the few I looked at were posted with the "PBS fake ISBN' with no book cover or description listed.  I know if I'm going through someones BL and find a title lthat I think is interesting (or even if the book cover appeals to me) and I click on a book description and there is none, I'm usually too lazy or just not interested enough to go to Amazon to check it out.

Proobably the first thing I'd do is post the book description and covers for those that don't have any, make sure that the Titles and authors are capitalized as needed, and then if I still didn't get any requests, I might post a bargain (2/1, 3/1, etc.) in the book bazaar.  Good luck   Pat

I second what Patty and Pat said: Books with descriptions get requested more often than books with no descriptions. You can find book descriptions on Amazon or http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk

Also you might want to write a brief review of the book to help stir up interest.
