Which book would you suggest I start with?

MZB always said that it didn't matter, but if you go online to the website with all her books listed you can see them both chronologically and in the order that they were written.

The earlier written books are simpler plot lines. The later ones much more complex, but personally even though I started in the middle :-), if you have the chance, start chronologically. That means get DARKOVER landfall first.  If you can't get started with that one, any of the ones that take place during the 100 Kingdoms or the Age of Chaos are good. I have Hawkmistress posted. you could start with that one. I'd be happy to PM you to discuss any of them or we can do on this list.
