I couldn't pick out a genre forum to put this in. I would be interested in reading some books on primitive cultures that exist today. I don't want them to be like a textbook, if they're regular paperback that would be great, but non-fiction. I'm not looking for a deal or necessarily a book that you may have posted, just some ideas would be great!

Margaret Mead's Coming of Age in Samoa is a classic, and available.  The Shark God, by Charles Montgomary also might be of interest.  It's about the author's travels in Vanuatu and some of the other South Pacific Islands.  Also, Peter Matthiessen has many books that touch on this.
