For awhile now the Lord has placed something on my heart. I have not followed through due to my own neglect, but I have come to realize that I need to follow the Lord's leading. I know several christian people who have loved ones in prison. There is a selection of christian books at the men's prison, but it is small. As I have gone through my own "library" I have come across a couple of christian books that I know the male prisoners would enjoy.

What I am needing is christian fiction books that would intrest men. Books authored by Ted Dekker, Charles martin, mel odom, mark myheir, etc. After contacting the local prison chaplan, who has charge of the library, He mentioned that they wouldn't go for the books geared towards women.

If anyone has a book or series of books that they would be willing to accept a deal on.....I would be very grateful!

thanks, dawn

Do they need to be paperback only?  I know some prisons have regulations concerning the binding of the books.

Thanks for asking that question. When I asked the head chaplain he did not mention any regulations.

I have the following books, some paperback, some hardcover:

  • Breach of Promise  Author: James Scott Bell
  • The Last Days (Political Thrillers, Bk 2)   Author: Joel C. Rosenberg
  • Presumed Guilty   Author: James Scott Bell
  • The Shack   Author: William P. Young
  • Threshold   Author: Bill Myers
  • Angel of Wrath (Voice of God, Bk 2)   Author: Bill Myers

I also have a few of the Left Behind series my son left here...I double check to see if he still wants them....I'm pretty sure my DIL has purchased him new ones.
