On my public wishlist there are 209 books. In fact, I have 192. How do I get those extras off my wishlist if they don't appear on my editable wishlist? For example, on my public wishlist are 3 different versions of The Red Coffin by Sam Eastland. These books are no longer on my editable wishlist - I received a copy of this book under its alternate title and deleted said titles from the wishlist. Yet they are on the public view of my wishlist or at least they were 10 minutes ago. I am not sure yet which the other books are. I suppose it isn't a problem until I get an offer and think "what?" I assume I can edit it out then? Thanks in advance for your answers. HMMMM....I went back to my wishlist and changed it to arrange by author as I have my "editable" wishlist and guess what? I have 192 titles on the wishlist, then I change it back to resort by title and I have 209. So I assume if I change my editable wishlist to arrange by title those ghost titles will show. I'll let you know :)

So the answer is there is a difference when I "resort" from title to author arrangement. I was able to delete 5 titles but there are still about 10 extra editions or titles I don't want on my wishlist I have to somehow figure out and then delete. anyone know how to avoid this happening? Thanks!

Some books don't have an author listed so when you sort by author they aren't viewable. If you sort by any other criteria you can see all your books. Sort by title and they'll all show. your public/private wish lists are identical. Unfortunately, you really have to manually remove books when you have multiple copies listed as not all are connected through the PBS database. |
