I mailed books to someone and tracking shows that they were recieved on 12-26 but she never marked them as being recieved. I know I got my credits because of the tracking but I don't want her to get into trouble over this. I have pm'd her a few times and now I notice her account is on hold. Should I do anything or just let it go????? I just got the lost in mail e-mail |

Perhaps her account is on hold because she is on vacation. The books can be marked received through the transaction archive so I wouldn't worry about it, especially since you used DC. There is also a possibility that PBS put her account on hold because she had several books "go lost" in a short period of time -- they do that when they see a pattern. Bottom line, you got your credits...just walk away. |

Just because it's marked delivered, does not mean they were delivered to the right person or address. I have had books misdelivered to neighbors before, and if they weren't honest and brought them to me, they would have been scanned 'delivered' but I would not have gotten them. It sounds like maybe your person is on vacation or away from the computer, maybe a family emergency or something. As Sally said, this is one of the perks of using PBS DC, you have your credits so there is nothing else for you to do. Cheryl |

The Help Center actually says that your should contact the Team if you do not hear from the other member and the book gets declared lost. Just because the sender already has the credit, doesn't mean that they shouldn't try to verify if the book was received or not. The site needs to cover that credit to return it to the requester. If you sent the book with Delivery Confirmation and it has been recorded as delivered by USPS but hasn't been marked received yet:
