Is there a list/way/forum for locating OR offering books when you want or have "all" of them and think that's the way to go?  I mean - like ALL the Harry Potter Books, or the ENTIRE "LOTR" on cd, etc..... it is frustrating to have holes in your collection!

You can use the Book Bazaar forum if you're offering to post an entire series to one person. If you're searching for the series (non-WL) you can ask for it in a thread there and you can also put an alert in your member signature, which shows up below forum posts. Another way is to look at the Box of Books members and see if any have what you're looking for.

Before I post series books I've read, I sometimes add a thread in the bazaar to offer all to one member; the only way I'll read a series myself (with a few exceptions) is if I have all the books and I know there are others like me so I've had luck doing it that way. There is also a thread in the bazaar for WL multiples so someone may have more than one of a set you're looking for.

To look up individual books (non-WL) up, I just search for one of them and then see if the member has any others from the series using the order more, not the process order button. If not, I back out of the order all the way to the search screen and try other books in the series from other members. Sometimes you can find several from one. This works exceptionally well for longer series, like The Cat Who and the In Death series, as members often have quite a few of books sitting there and you can ask for a deal.
