So, I just read "Certain Women" by Madeliene L'Engle, and was reminded of how amazing her books are. Does anyone have any recommendations as to books/authors that are similar to her(s)? Specifically, what I love about her books is that she writes novels involving faith, or closely involving biblical stories, but that aren't trite, sappy, or doomsday literature. It also doesn't hurt that she's an Episcopalian (as am I), and so writes from that slant... :-D If you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them! -Emma
