I know that books with tapes are worth 2 credits. Why aren't books with cd worth 2 credits as well. Tapes are being used less, and cd's are becoming the norm. I feel that they too should be worth two credits. Are there any other perspectives? |

I actually agree with you, but for the sake of another perspective... maybe it's because CDs are so light compared to tapes? Of course, that doesn't explain the hardcover/library bindings going for just 1 credit! |

Hi Desiree, I put on my wishlist today a book with CDs and was grateful it wasn't 2 credits, but I was surprised as well that it wasn't. Totally agree with you though, would think these books would be more valuable.

Audio's on CD are 2 credits. I got 2 credits for S is for Silence by Sue Grafton. If it's a book w/a CD it's only 1 credit. But an actual audio on CD w/no book is 2 credits. |

Yeah I just double checked my credit registry. I've paid 2 credits and received 2 credits for audiobooks on tapes and CD's. But a written book that has a music CD or like a kids story book w/CD is only 1credit. |

The difference is books ON tape/CD versus books WITH tapes/CDs. Very different items. I don't know why they separate audio books from the rest, can't imagine them costing more than HC, but too many different credit values and the site would no longer be a swap site. |
