Love some titles where the hero is undercover when he meets the heroine.  I know I've read some before but I can't name them at the moment.  One of Cindy Gerard's Black Ops book had this plot in teh beginning-the 2nd one.  ANymore? Historical or contemporary.

Let's see undercover cops, Sex, Lies, and Online Dating by Rachel Gibson. That's all I can think of right now, I know I've read more but I'm drawing a blank.

The series - Tempting Seals, Nauti Boys, and Elite Ops by Lora Leigh have that type of theme and they are erotica to boot!  : )

Cindy Gerard did have on where the hero pretended to be someone else at first.  It was Take No Prisoners.

As far as decent spy historicals go, there's The Spymaster's Lady by Joanna Bourne - probably one of the better spy romances out there, My Lord and Spymaster book 2 in that series (decent but not nearly as good as book 1), A Lady's Secret  by Jo Beverley, which was great until she dragged the Mallorens into it (I think I gave it a B-), Your Scandalous Ways by Loretta Chase (another B level story - reminds me a lot of the Jo Beverley book), Written on Your Skin by Meredith Duran, which I just finished & thought was pretty good, Winter Garden by Adele Ashworth (a great book - H&H are both spies), one of my favorite keepers: Bridal Favors by Connie Brockway, the only Gaelen Foley book I ever really liked: Lord of Fire, Beauty and the Spy by Julie Ann Long (book 1 of a series - it's good), and several of MJ Putney's Fallen Angels series (Dancing on the Wind, etc) books.  And that's all I can think of at the moment.

Oh Yeah, Celeste Bradley has tons, but she doesn't do much for me:P

THanks! Take No Prisoners was the one I read. I've also read Sex Lies and Online Dating.  I haven't read any of the books Kim and Susanna  listed so I will look those up.

I loved your scandalous ways by Loretta Chase.  I don't require my romance be as great as other novels.  I will say though that Mary Jo Putney and Marsha Canham are my new favorite authors.

Cherry Adair - TFLAC Series - Out of SightHide and Seek, Kiss and Tell, In too Deep  -and there are more but this coves the brothers -   she also has some that border on paranormal or was that Cindy Gerard - one of them has add'l books that are bordering on paranormal.

Suzanne Brockmann - Troubleshooter series - the earlier books are about navy seals, but others are about the Troubleshooters Inc which are made up of some of the navy seals that were in the earlier books.  So some are about the seals and some are about the seals when they leave and join Troubleshooters inc.   I hope this makes sense.  Flashpoint

Tara Jazen - Crazy series - crazy wild, , crazy hot crazy kissies, crazy cool.  I think she just came out with another one.

Lora Leigh - Tempting Seals -

Edited - add Lora Leigh

I recently read Bride Thief  by Jacquie D'Alessandro.  The heroine first meets the "Bride thief", then his real self.  It was a great book!
