Well, actually it's near my parents house and since I go up there frequently it's very convenient for me to get there.  Everything is 30-40% off, including new realeases, Erotica, everything!  The shelves were still full so I had a great selection.  Let's just say Santa came early for me....and got a lot of things I didn't know I needed!

The large book stores are all a good drive for me but I'm mostly a used book slut.  I love hunting trift stores, flea markets and garage sales for books.  It's like a little adventure, you never know what you might find.  And ususally you can't beat the price - there is no better feeling than coming out of a store with a bag of books and only spending five bucks!

A free-standing Borders near me closed a year or two ago and it was great! Not that it was closing, of course, but everything was on sale. I was buying stuff that sounded  only moderately interesting just because it was so cheap! I still have a pretty large Borders in the mall near me, which I go to when I want to use one of my 30% or 40% off coupons.
