He eyed the girl, insolently appraising. Without emotion she stared back. She had left the candle burning so he could see her body. Erect, arrogant, she stepped out of the long skirt and stood in the candleshine. Saxon caught his breath. From the quilt on the floor, Saxon looked up at her, at the soft gold light playing over the full, ripe hills and valleys and stroking the flawless skin.
