Has anyone attended any of these conventions? I'm tempted and was wondering if anyone had any feedback after attending any in the past. Thanks! Vandana |

I almost went a few years ago when it was in the Bay Area. I had my panels picked out and was even planning on doing some volunteering at the convention through "my" mystery book store in San Francisco, "The San Francisco Mystery Book Store," which is now closed (may it rest in peace, ((sniffle)) ) Unfortunately I ended up not being able to go. I heard nothing but raves and wonderfiul things from those who did go. Three years later and I'm still kicking myself for not making it happen somehow. So yes, GO! Or you will be like me and be still regretting it a few years later! |

Hi Vandana, www.Stopyourekillingme.com has a special newsletter about Boucheron that I received today. You might be interested. Susan |

Thank you both! While thinking about this one, I found Left Coast Crime and decided to go ahead and sign up for that one: in March 2014. I'm looking forward to it. The B. is later in the year and I still have time to think about it and plan. Vandana |

Ever since I have been making friends here in the mystery forum and the historical fiction forum as well, I have wanted to go to a book convention. The Boucheron is high on the list since I so love mysteries. I have been so out of touch with current anything since David died in March or I would have really tried to go to Albany. It is not really any big drive from Delaware, so I am quite sad right now. Perhaps another year it will be somewhat convenient once again. |

Hi Becky I think it would be great fun. I hope you can go to one next year: as I said earlier I'm planning on going to Left Coast Crime in March in CA. I am so looking forward to it: I've been looking after my parents for the past couple of years and havent had a break: this is going to be my vacation. Vandana
