When I browse a member's bookshelf, I can sort by author or title if I want. When I am browsing a member that is a boxer, I can't sort their list at all. Is there something I am doing wrong? I hate to browse by title. It gets very daunting especially if it's a huge list. I'd rather sort by author and scan it that way.
What does everyone else do? Thanks! Mindy |

at the top of the list there are different ways to search ( by title or author) and there is a button to click to search by genre. |

Michelle, that's true for normal bookshelves, but I'm not a Boxer and it sounds as if the Box of Books bookshelf may not be set up that way.
Mindy, from what I've read, you can sort by author, etc., when you are searching all boxer's shelves, but I can see how it would be helpful to be able to sort a boxer's shelf. I'm hoping a boxer will jump in here, but what if you order a book from a boxer, and then in another browser window, go to "community" --> "membership directory" and plug in the boxer's PBS nickname. You could then go to the bookshelf and sort however you like. You'd have to add books to your box in the first browser window. (You could click on "Search/Browse this member's books" if that's available to you, and plug in keywords to find the book you want to add to the box.)
I'd also suggest going down to the bottom right corner of any page, and clicking on "contact us" under the "company" menu. Use the Feedback option to offer a suggestion to the Admin Team on adding the sort functions to the boxer shelves.
