I have a box of like new (most of them) Stephen King Hardback novels. I don't want to spend the extra money to ship out each of these books or the entire box as I don't have the spare cash. I know I could give them to the library but thought before that I would post a comment here. I would really like to get some credits for these but don't know how to avoid shipping. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the help

Jacki,

Maybe you could find a member in your area, then you could just meet somewhere and exchange books and credits!

I wish  you were closer . My area has a few used book stores that buy books, of course they want a good deal too. You might find someone in your area if you look for a PBS book club in your area. That link is also in the list of discussion forums.

Thanks for the information, I checked with my local buy bookstores but they already had at least 2 copies of these books.... just thought I would post it here first before lugging them to the library..... :(

!) If you have an active Craigslist near you, that could be an option.  I'd make my prices really reasonable as there are loads of Stephen King books out there.

2) Do you have any extra credits you could sell to get money for shipping.  If you chose this option you would probably want to make sure someone had an interest in a deal on the whole lot at the amt. of credits that would make it worth your while. I'm always amazed when I ship a heavy load of books at how little the cost goes up with each book.

Hope you find a good way to share these with someone else who will enjoy them.
