Is it possible to take a boxed set of books and list each book individually to trade?  Is that okay?   Or somehow those don't really count and cannot be listed separately?   Thanks!!

IIRC Pamela, if they have individual ISBNs (and many do) you can list them seperately.  If you would like to send multiples, there might be some options available.  Alot depends on what set you are trying to swap.

You definitely can post them individually - if you post as a boxed set, you'll just get the one credit.

If they are wishlisted, you can post in the Book Bazaar's Multiple Wishlist thread.  If they aren't, you can still offer them as a deal - something like 3 books for 2 credits (or however many there are in the set), and someone who wants all of them might take you up on it.  It's a good way of sending them together and saving postage.
