Yupp I'm on page 118. The wedding went much smoother then I thought. I was sure that Jacob was going to break something. (Most likely someone's neck) but he didnt! I was so suprised! I love it so far. How about you?

I know! I couldn't believe that he didn't try to ruin it, either. I'm on page 300 right now. Still a LONG way to go. lol

I've got it, but I haven't gotten the chance to delve into it yet. It's beckoning me from my nightstand, but I have to finish homework first.

All I can say is: WTF, Stephenie Meyer?

I finished it. It was....unexpected....but I was able to overlook that and continue my unhealthy infatuation with Edward :) As...different as it was, I ended perfectly to me.

I finished it yesterday. AND even though it didn't go as I thought that it would, I though over all it was a good book. And, she leaves room to have a new series branch off of it. I was upset when I first read it, but it got better to me.

I liked it, I thought it was cute(?), I guess I don't really know what I thought it was.  I will have to read it again to make any final decisions, but all in all I was happy.

The first half of the book, I was like WOAH what is going on (With the whole monster baby, crazy pregnancy. Plus Bella's crazy masochist behavior). Also, I was upset that the middle of the book was in Jacob's point of view. But once I got used to that I did not mind being in Jacob’s head so much.

Overall I liked the book--though I'm not sure they could make a good movie out of it (If they had it in mind to make all 4 books into movies). I think that I walked away from the book with the same mind fuzziness as The Host.

I am sad the series is finished! But I didn't cry over the loss like I did with Harry Potter. BUT IT WAS CLOSE.

I'm 200-something pages into it now. The pregnancy is a little awkward, but it's cool getting Jacob's perspective on everything. It's quite a bit of a mess, though.

Janelle, your avatar is awesome, lol.  I think the LA Times review hit the nail on the head for me, personally.  I was definitely disappointed.

I liked it. I'm keeping my copy for my collection. I thought it was cool she changed the writing style.

I don't think it should be a movie, even though I thought it was good. If they make the movies, I hope they end with Eclipse.

If it was made into a movie, it would be too weird and Bella would remind me of some scary cult person ( Like the episode of Angel where Cordy was having that monster baby) Scary!

I'm almost done with it  and I love it but I'm not sure about a movie based on it.  I do plan on running to watch Twilight as soon as it comes out  so how good that movie turns out will probably help me decide if I want to watch any more . They are planning on some sequels because when they put out that they were looking for a real Native American to play Jacob they said it would be for several movies.

My favorite Stephanie Meyer book has been (please don't shoot me) -- THE HOST. I loved it, I really grew attached to Mel and want to see more of what happens to her in the future. I actually got into the book emotionally, actually fel her pain. It does start off slow but Dang once it gets startedd who wants sleep or food ? Not me, I needed to see how mel and the watcher were.

I'm reading New Moon right now and OMG..when Edward left..I so felt Bella's pain and was crying along with her. It was so powerful for me. Course now it's a bit slow because I want Edward back and not Jacob...but oh well..gotta get through the slow parts to get back to the good parts.

Stephanie Meyer has said that you need to read New Moon twice...first to read it and get through it, and the 2nd time to appreciate Jacob Black.

OK, I came to this saga late, I actually read all 4 books between mid July and the first week of Aug.  I loved it.  My only WTF moment for me was that child's name, it was both distracting and I found myself substituing her nickname in place of it.

The rest was a great ending to a addicting saga.  I hear there has been a lot of back lash over it, fans not happy.  Well you can't please everyone, the fact is I kind of worried that this would be the reaction, although this is a YA book, it certainly isn't really geared to anyone under 16 IMO.   I think she did a wonderful job, giving pretty much everyone their HEA.

I don't want to say too much until I know everyone has read the entire book....... But I certainly would love to discuss it!

I understand that Jacob was important and helped Bella through a horribly tough time..but I LOVE EDWARD!!!! I just kept wanting him back in the book.

Now I'm onto the next book.

Though I was wondering and perhaps someone here knows the answer...does Stephenie ever plan on releasing Midnight Sun or was that just a hahaha for her? Cause I really really want Midnight Sun!!

She stated in her website (www.stepheniemeyer.com) that she would finish 'Midnight Sun' before writing the next book of the 'The Host' series (or was that in the EW article?).  IF that was first draft...WOW!

On a side note, I'm enjoying 'BD' more each reading. I've read it a few times now and I love it more each time. Anyone else?

Overall I thought the book was OK with a mix of disappointing.  My favorite of the series was Eclipse.  I didn't like certain aspects of the book like Jacob's POV and his imprinting.  I also didn't like how Bella got everything she wanted without giving anything up and making a sacrafice.  It would be the equivalant of Harry killing Voldermort then all of a sudden everyone Voldermort killed came back to life like his parents, Dumbledore and Cedric to name a few.  It was too gift wrapped.  Not my favorite of the series and I wouldn't have been upset it if just ended with Eclipes.  I still love Edward :-)

Breaking Dawn was probably my least favorite of all the twilight books. I just didn't like how Bella acted. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be.

Well,  I just read all 4 books in a row this past week.  NOt sleeping very much, but having fun.  To me they kept better as they went along.  Breaking Dawn was my favorite.  I was reading all the discontent and was wondering how the book would go.  But, I loved it.

I was really glad she went to Jake's POV.  If that section had been in Bella's POV it would have been way too difficult.  Really enjoyed the series.
