What a wonderful novel about a father trying to protect his daughter. I started reading this book the day after Christmas and could hardly put it down until I finished it. Stephen Goodwin get's inside a parent's mind and heart so beautifully. I highly recommend this book.

A situation that could happen to any parent - love, panic, reaction. Hard to put down. A quick-to-read, compelling story of a father's love; a family in crisis. I really enjoyed it.

I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. It is written in such a down to earth fashion, and with such genuine people that it will be hard to realize that it is actually fiction.

this book honestly took me such a long time to finish! the narration was very monotonous but the book itself was a touching story about a single father trying to hold it together for his two teenage kids during a whole bumch of drama. interesting and relatable events take place, and the author gives you great insight on what the dad is thinking and feeling. overall a relaxing, peaceful book
