I have a friend who was just diagnosed and is scheduled for a double mastectomy in two weeks, if anyone has a book on breast cancer (inspiring stories or informational) that you could donate I would appreciate it! (I am starting by donating 2 of my own books). Thank you!

Please check my shelf and see if there is anything your friend would like. I have quite a few cancer books listed. I have been going thru chemo for the last year for lung cancer, but there aren't many books o. That topic so I read thru a bunch of breast cancer ones looking for any basic advise, info, and inspiration.

I donated all my Cancer books to the infusion center where I had my treatments.  I can suggest a really good one for your friend, though.  It's called, "The Red Devil....To Hell With Cancer and Back." The really great thing is that the author was diagnosed 17 years ago with Stage IV breast cancer, and was told she had 24 months to live.  She is alive and well and living in NYC.
