The characters, especially our heroine Jade, were very well defined and interesting. The story kept my interest, and like any good Sandra Brown book, kept me reading long past bedtime!

The writing is good, with lots of descriptives. While I was impressed with the plot, and how it unravels (catching the reader off guard) I found the heroine's consistent line of "I just can't get over this" wore me out by the end of the book.

This is a somewhat interesting read. The plot is basically a revenge plot with a love story. There are some sad parts.

This is one of my favorite books by Sandra Brown. It was a very long book, but it kept me VERY entertained! It made me happy, sad, jealous (dillan yummy)lol. The writting was so discriptive it made me feel her pain. There are many sex scenes and one towards the end was so sweet, i almost cried ok i did cry (break out of shell one). Revenge is sooo sweet, when you read this you will see. The last scene (sex scene) i dont know how i feel about that one, im still questioning it. To each there own everyone deals diffrent, but i dont know how i feel about it. Too me it was almost morbed. You know the saying keep your freinds close and your enemies closer! Well reverse that with this book! Keep your enemies close and your friends closer! I dont know how many times, I wanted to slap the shit out of some of her so called friends. Anyway REALLY

Of all her books this has been my absolute favorite. Excellent story line and not too much passion which Sandra Brown is good for. I didn't want the book to end.

On a night in her senior year in high school, college bound Jade Sperry endures gang rape at the hands of the rich man's son and his cronies. Years pass while Jade gets her education, has a baby and gets her life together, but she never forgets that night and her vow to exact revenge. Returning to her hometown to open a factory for her company, she lays the groundwork and succeeds in her goals, finding the possibility of love along the way.

Understanding this is one of Sandra Brown's earlier works, whoever edited this book should be strung up. The story line is fantastic, but the dialogue sometimes drags and the subplots seem to have been added as an afterthought. Dick Hill's narration was WAY overacted, still, it was a good story. It just didn't measure up to Sandra Brown standards. If you like audio books, this story would probably work well in the abridged version.

This is a really good, suspensful book. The box is a little rough, but the CD's are just fine. I enjoyed it.

This book was too graphic and bit distrubing for my taste.
