This English novel, about the world of dogs, is a very enjoyable read. It touches on every aspect of the world of dogs -- the puppy mill owner, dog fighters, irresponsible dog owners balanced by the caring breeder, the caring dog owner, an RSPCA agent and the world of dog shows. There's tension, romance, frustration with raising teens, dealing with divorce, a stolen dog and a campaign to blacken the reputation of a reputable dog show judge -- in other words, something for everyone. Like dogs, give this read a try!

Breeders is a novel set in a small country village in England. It is a well written novel. I really enjoyed reading it. I often would wonder what the charcters of the book were doing and I wan not engrossed in it. If covers every thing in the dog world the good, bad and ugly. It also covers the same on the human side. I recomend this book.
