Great YA retelling/blending of fairytales. I really enjoyed the realness of Briar. Be warned this book contains foul language. I know a lot of parents don't like their children reading book like that and I completely understand. I figure they have heard all these words multiple times and probably use them on a regular basis. The story could have been just as good without the foul language though. It wasn't needed.
The book really felt like it was suppose to be a trilogy, but I haven't heard of anymore coming out. How depressing
