Great continuation of Carlyle's latest series, which started with " A Touch of Scandal". I definitely recommend reading that first, for a better understanding of the plot. Plenty of action and love scenes and a touch of the supernatural. There is a fascinating group of characters, and I am intriqued about what will happen to them in future books. Readers of the author's earliest books will also recognize some tie-ins to them.
