Semi-autobiographical account of a coming of age boy in pre-WW II Brooklyn. Act I is rife with typical wry wit of the playwright; Act 2 trends toward melancholy. Non-the-less it is entertaining, unless of course you shy from the masturbation instruction.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a Jewish teen boy during the 1940s in New York? Read this play and find out! It's a touching, real story about a family's struggles and triumphs, and is also hilariously funny to boot. A Neil Simon classic.
