I loved this story, could not guess the ending but it was happy.
Book starts in Colorado in 2000. headlines say "Investigation of US theft of Nazi War loot'. He sets off to clear his Grandfathers name. Author Patricia Potter looks deep in the human soil and finds the best and brightest in each character.

A good read. Little slow getting into it but the pace picks up.

Amy Mallory, Lucien "Irish" Flaherty and Dustin and Sally Eachan had one thing in common. Their grandfathers all fought in WWII and all were involved in a Nazi "Treasure Train." Long after all three men are dead, Amy, Irish, Dustin and Sally become embroiled in the mystery of that trainand are put in danger because of it. It is a very intriguing storyline and as always, Patricia Potter is a master of characterization and storytelling. The book started off slowly, but soon picked up and then became hard to put down. Recommended.

Love Patricia Potter's writing! This book is about a girl raised in a strict military family. She vowed to never fall for a man in uniform. Lucien Flaherty has devoted his life to duty, country, and family. But all he believes is shattered when his ancestors' honor is tainted by scandal - and by secrets that link his past to that of a beautiful stranger.
