Some good vampire-huntin' action here; this is one of the few vampire romances where I think the vampire bit is better handled than the romance. I have very little patience with books where the central conflict is artificially prolonged by misunderstandings or lack of communication - this book could have been truly kickass but Cora verges on TSTL. Also, I find the whole "the mere sight of this woman gives me an instantaneous mighty boner" trope tiresome. Read it for the very strong suspenseful actiony bits and not the cliched romance - it's a fun read but to me, not a keeper.
