This is an excellent book about a group of tankers who fought excellently during WWII. They just happen to be black. This book tells about some of the difficulties they had to go though to get to combat. But that is not the focus of the book. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Tank unit combat in the ETO. It explains a lot about why things were done and how the men coped with their day to day activities. It is a true history and not a political statement.
