A Park Avenue monastery with an expired lease, a young Monk named Brother Benedict, a greedy real estate mogul, and his daughter with whom Brother Benedict is stricken are the ingredients for this sparkling mystery.
A great Westlake--very funny, great dialog, hero an innocent with smarts. This is the reason I continue to read Westlake!
