Lead Seaman Brown is a one-man guerilla force who, after capture by a German warship, escapes to wreck havoc on it as it attempts to retro-fit on Resolution Island in the Galapagos. The delay allows the British Navy to overtake and destroy the Germans. What begins as a dull biography of Brown finally takes off to be another of what Graham Greene would term an "entertainment."
