But I still don't get it. I want to send several books to a buddy. However, if I post them on my bookshelf, they will get taken up in the wishlist because several have them on wishlist. So how can I send them direct to my buddy and how can she then send me the credits for them? Thanks for your help.

The easiest way to prevent accidental "requesting" by someone else is to have your friend buddy you the credits, and just mail them to her directly. She will need to send you her address, of course.

If your friend has those titles on her public WL, then you can just go directly to her wish list and click on the "post this book" tab. Just make sure it says it's going to that person's name, not to the general collection.

Yes, the best would be to post them directly to your Buddy's WL.

ditto to posting them to her WL.  When you click on the Post Book (and do this from her WL and NOT the desc page) it will say on the next screen "You are posting this to Suzy Q's WL) and then it will take you through the rest of the normal posting book screens.

Once you have posted a book it should show up on your waiting to send or something page, click on the PM button and make sure it is your buddy's list.
