Dear Librarian: I have received a message that someone wants to be on my Buddy List.

What is a "Buddy List", and what exactly does this entail?

Thank you.

Ed Vaughan

Ed, look under My Account (dropdown menu) and you will see a link for your Buddy list.  Click on it and you will see a link for Buddy List Invitations.  Click on it and either add or ignore the member requesting.  :)

Ed, also to expound on Mary's directions.... A Buddy List (BL) is a list of people you want to be buddies with here on PBS.  They might be people you particularly like to trade with, people you don't want to trade with, or people who have helped answer your questions and you might want to go back to them sometime.  Your Tour Guide is also listed in your Buddy LIst.  You can ask people to be your Buddy, and others can ask you.  Accept them or deny them, that is up to you.  :)

Also, in your settings you can control how much privacy you have and how much information is shared with the public and/or your buddies.

If you have any other questions about your BL, please feel free to PM me. :)
