I just received an invitation to become someone's buddy and I thought I accepted it, but they do not show up on my buddy list.  The only "buddy" I have on my list is the one assigned to me when I first joined - so I've never done this before.

Just wondering if I needed to do more than click "accept" or if just takes time for a buddy to show up on one's list.

I want my buddy! 

Did you check up at the top of your buddy list, in the yellow horizontal bar, where it says "Buddy List Invitations"?  The buddy should be added immediately to your list.  If not, and you know who it is, you can click "+ buddy" to send them an invitation.

Thanks, Leslie.  I just accepted your invitation (like I did the last one), but you don't appear as my buddy (yet).  Is there something else that is supposed to happen?

Wait a minute.  After I accept the invitation am I supposed to then add the person who sent the invitation?  This just isn't intuitive to me at all!

Well...I just checked for the first person (that I accepted their invitation to be a buddy with) and it shows that we are indeed buddies.  But their name doesn't show up on my buddy page.
