Okay, as previously stated, I have never watched the Buffy series before.  I missed out talking about the episodes when they were on tv.  Will those of you who have seen the show, please help me relive what I missed as I watch the show?  Please do me a kindness and don't spoil past what I have seen?  I would REALLY appreciate that!

Now I've watched all of season one and just started on season two.  How many seasons are there?

I will be giving my one line synopsis of the episodes plus any comentary I want to share.  Those who have memory of the episodes feel free to chime in, thanks!

I watched School Hard tonight - First appearance of Spike.

I think he's kind of annoying so far.  I usually go for the vampire who is happy to be a vampire, and not the oh woe is me vampire - prefered LaCroix over Nick Night, Lestat over Loius, Josef over Mick, and so on, but, I prefer Angel by far so far.

Humerous thought - Wow, he barbequed the Annoited One!

Buffy and crew have to find a released Incan Mummy

Okay, definately the lamest episode I've watched so far.  The drama was contrived and the whole episode felt really really fakey.  And seriously, no vampires!

There are seven seasons.

I kind of like Inca Mummy Girl (and I think Teacher's Pet is so much lamer).  It introduces the minor character of Jonathan!  And I believe it introduced Oz, too, right?  He's the guy in the band.

Definitley loved Josef over Nick.  I thought he was kind of hot.

Also didn't like Inca Mummy.  But I love Spike, and as you keep going, you probably will too.  I have the first six seasons. I'll go through the titles and see if I can pick out my favorite episodes.

Yeah Inca Mummy Girl was not the strongest ever.  There are so many great S2 and S3 episodes that the weak ones really stand out.  Actually, I think the next in order is Reptile Boy, possibly even weaker than Inca Mummy Girl, then comes a great string of episodes starting with Haloween.

I liked early Spike and Druscilla in this season.  It wasn't until later seasons when he started to get on my nerves.

ahhh Spike, my love lol I feel that he gets much worse before he gets better lol and both season 1 and 2 are more cheesy than the rest lol When I watch it I usually go straight to season 3 or 4

My favorite season is season three, but the second is the best overall.  It starts to really good around the "What's My Line" episodes, leading up to Buffy's birthday and then the rest of the season (except maybe "Reptile Boy").

My roommate and I were rewatching Buffy episodes in order for awhile, but we stopped with the episode right before it's revealed that Angel is a vampire.  And I also need to introduce her to "Firefly". :)

Mid S2 starting with What's My Line through S3 are my favorites, though I tend to start rewatching S3 with Faith, Hope and Trick, because I find Anne disappointing and Dead Man's Party awful.  I also skip Amends though I would watch all the episodes through if I hadn't seen them before

I was always a huge Buffy/Angel fan, through all seven seasons.  There was just something about their relationship that I really liked, although I don't know if I could put my finger on it.

OMG...Just hang on...there are some totally great eps coming up.  Trying to remember what the plot arc is for season 2.  Know that when I re-watch the seasons there are some I skip...some that you have already mentioned. Mummy girl...teachers pet...and go fish come to mind. they have no real bearing on the season story arc and are just sort of filler. however...JOSS!!!!...briliant mind that he has is really taking this somewhere.  Just hang on.  judging from where you are in season 2 I can tell you the very best is yet to come.  However cannot tell you what without MAJOR Spoiler!!!!!! 

Did not get hooked on Buffy until I think season 4, my kid was always involved and remembering how bad the movie was I was soooooo not gong there.  Then, one tv died and the kid was watching it on my tv...started getting hooked...started watching earlier seasons in rerun...on my god....Spike without his shirt!!!!!!  I'm drooling just thinking about it!!!!!! 

End of season 2 will break your heart!!!!!  Nuf said.

Season 3???  BAND CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Outstanding.  LOVERS WALK!!!!!!!!!!!!  did joss know the story of me and my second husband???????  I think he must have!!!!  FAITH, HOPE & TRICK!!!!!!!!  HOLY S&#T!!!!!!!!!!!!  2 Slayers one town??????  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Hells bells...have quoted buffy so very very many times that my kid and I can have whole conversations in nothing but buffy quotes, well a few cordy and angel as well...and know exactly what we are taking about.  Its sick!!!!!!  I'm 46 and she is 24...you think we'd grow up?????  Nay...no fun in that.
