I was suprized how insightful this book really was. It has a lot of daily things to help improve the way you look at life! Terry has quite a humorous way of looking at things and this book really shows her personality. I would give it a 8 on the scale! I actually wrote down and use four things from this book that are very helpful!!!

I don't know what I was expecting when I picked up this book. I always thought Teri Hatcher a woman who had it all- looks, money, career. I never would have believed that she has the same insecurities I have- she's a real person. So many of her chapters dealt with issues I have known my entire life and I can really respect the way she has dealt with them. I found myself taking notes to remember key things so that maybe I could make them work for me. Reading this book has made me realize that I have been eating "Burnt Toast" my entire life - as has my mother - and just maybe there is something I can do to prevent my daughter from eating it as well. I am going to make sure she (my daughter) reads this book - and tell her to take a few notes too!

I never really knew a whole lot about Teri Hatcher, but for some reason this book seemed intriguing. I actually did enjoy this book and found some of her philosophies to be pretty useful. Quick read, but interesting.

I really enjoyed reading Teri Hatcher's view on the life of a woman. Although we all know she is a celebrity, she does have some good, down to earth advice. It's a book I'll keep on my shelf!

I loved this book! It was down to earth and full of hilarious little events.
It made me remember that she's just a normal person, not always the movie star.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a light-hearted read.

A beautiful heart in PBS sent this book to me as a surprise gift. If you are looking for a book about Terri Hatcher the actress, this is not the book--this is exactly what i wanted--the real person--just like you and i. She is an endearing author and has a wonderful way with words. The cover is really misleading as this book is on her philosophies of life and she is not always in the beautiful gown, lunching with other actors everyday. That just happens to be her JOB. In real life she has a daughter and this is about her thoughts on life and raising a child and mistakes she has made, her thoughs on friends, family and how she views herself. She is funny and down to earth. I very very much enjoyed this book. Thank you friend.

This girl is a scatterbrain, no question! Filled with lots of fun (and not so fun) anecdotes from Teri's life, I'm not sure this book knows what it wants to be. It's part self-help, part biography, part advice column...and lots of rambling.

The rambling was funny because it reminded me of my grandmother. She could start of telling one story, go on 20 different tangents, and somehow work her way back to the original story! But man, was it hard to keep up with her sometimes!

Overall, an interesting journey, but certainly not the best written/edited book I've ever encountered.

After reading this book, I can honestly say that Teri seems to be very much like her character on Desparate Housewives. (Before reading this book, I was a Teri Hatcher fan and even I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.)
