I really enjoyed this book, and read it in 2 days. You have to sleep sometime. I laughed out loud many times, and that is saying something. I am not LOL person. It has to be pretty funny or ironic.

The two main characters, Identical red headed twins, are deliberately in contrast to each other. I gather it helps to tell them apart. Sometimes in the book, I could not. Kerry is the uptight, brainaic, Terry is an excon, with a pink Harley.

As the story progresses they become the owners of 2 really lovable cute dogs. That really added to the story.

Like Stephanie Plum novels, there is slap stick comedy, bumbling and fumbling on the main characters parts, and sometimes just plain stupidity on all the characters part.
Even the dogs do some outrageous things. They also have an overweight, alcoholic, flamboyant, cousin named Robert who is a delight to see in scenes.

Sometimes you just need a good laugh and a good multi-layered mystery, with quirky over the top characters and dogs.

This is not a cozy mystery, as there was some detailed graphic violence and some detailed sexual events.

I am very excited to start book 2.

First in the series. Great, fun detective book - 2 twins as PI's. Can't wait for the rest of the series.
