Topic: Butterscotch icing or frosting?

When I was in elementary school, my mom would add a Tasteycake Butterscotch Krimpet to my lunch.  That butterscotch frosting was the best ever.. but now, not so much. I think they changed the formula, it tastes less butterscotch and more sweet.

Anyone have a tried-and-true recipe for butterscotch frosting?
