So, here tell I am receiving a kindle for my BDay!! Anyways I was looking throuh the books on Amazon and am wondering .... how do you know it is the full version of the book or just a few pages?? I tried to compare KB on books, but some are 5KB others are 422KB. Help! Don't want to spend money on just a chapter or two - Stephanie

Sometimes on a freebie I find that a problem. But then I just delete it. I don't do samples chapters but think they're well marked by a button on the right that says 'sample'. But so far haven't had a problem. Most books are really books, and if small will have a smaller price. The descriptions will say ,short story' or someone will mention it in a review. If it's out in paperback or hardback you can check the page count and then just click on the kindle version and it'll be the same book. And if your unhappy you can try to return it. I returned an ebook once for massive scanning errors. So I've never had a problem with buying samples instead of a whole book, and I've bought a ton of kindle books.
