Meet Rip Chord, an ordinary garage band who just wants to make it in the music business. There is Gabriel on guitar, Darci on the bass, EdO on the keyboard, and Justin on the drums.

Gabriel really wants to the band to go far, not only because it's his passion but it is also the only chance he has in providing for his family and being able to take his girlfriend, Darci, out to nice places, which she is really used to. Unfortunately, their one audition for one of the infamous clubs doesn't go their way, and then their instruments are taken away by the Repo guys. So when Justin decides to tell Gabriel about his knew job in helping Vic, his so-called uncle, in a counterfeiting scam, Gabriel hesitates at first but believes that this is his only chance at making some real money.

Everything goes great for both Gabriel and Justin at their new job, that is until one of their spots gets busted, which lands Justin in jail. Gabriel, who fortunately gets away, is now noticed by Vic, who decides that Gabriel and his quick getaway skills should be getting more important jobs.

Yet all Gabriel is thinking about is finding evidence that he can bring to the police so he can bring these guys down and save his friend from having to go to prison.

Fast-paced and action-packed are two similar characteristics that you would find in an action movie, and in CD-RING. William T. Hathaway cooks up a novel that leaves the reader on the edge of their seats and puts the idea in their heads that this would make an awesome blockbuster movie.
