I am a caregiver for my mom (87), my son (32) who had a brain injury at age 27, my husband is 68 and getting forgetful very badly and I am just getting over being sick since June 9th with exacerbation of COPD and asthma. In the meantime, our town flooded for the first time in 58 years and my daughter and her family lost everything they own, trailer home, furnishings, etc. They are now living in our motor home in our driveway. We own four cars, none of which until yesterday were running. I was borrowing my mom's, who is now in a nursing home because I am unable to care for her in addition to everything else. It has gotten almost comical, can't wait to see what is going to happen next. Among all this some really good things have happened. My daughter was given an entire house if she agreed to cover the cost of moving it, and they have been given cash, money, applicances, etc. So they are okay. I will keep your husband in my thoughts. He certainly has had enough put on his plate hasn't he? I know you must feel so overwhelmed yourself at times. Do you have children or friends that can help?

Linda you are in my prayers Hon, I take care of my mom but I dont live with her as of yet she still is able to function on her own, but I do spend a few nights a week with her, and it can be hard on me as my twin sister never has time to do anything for me or our mother, and I can tell that when the "Time" comes that it will be me to take over!
