Ingredients
  • 6 TBSP - butter ( not margarine)
  • 1/2 CUP - flour
  • 3 CUPS - chicken broth ( 2 cans )
  • 1 CUP - milk
  • 1 - chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 CUP - finely chopped chicken ( or 1 large can of chicken )
  • 1 DASH - of pepper to taste
Directions

Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour.  Stir in chicken broth, milk, and bouillon cube.  Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and boiling. Add chicken & pepper, return to boil.  Serve immediately.     


Notes

Great as a cream soup or served over biscuits or toast.  :)
